Warriors inch closer to the number 1 seed behind 42 points from Steph Curry.

Steph Curry owned the night with 42 points in the Dubs win over Washington. The win capped off a streak of 5 games against playoff caliber teams in the league. Golden State has now won 11 in a row, and the magic number to clinch the 1 seed sits at just 3. Curry was locked in from the start of the contest and could not miss tonight. He finished the night with 9 three-pointers, and 15 made field goals. Draymond Green also registered a triple-double with 11 points, 13 rebounds, and 12 assists. The bench was once again fantastic as they were nearly unstoppable. Livingston scored 17 points in a masterful effort followed by 10 from David West. Golden State served notice after they led 67 to 57 at halftime. They pushed their lead to 22 while Steph dropped 13 in the 3rd quarter. Washington made a push led by Bogdanovic in the 4th. It was, however, a short-lived rally as the Dubs finished off the Wizards for a 139-115 victory. How can it get any better? Rumor has it that Kevin Durant could return this weekend. Get ready Warrior’s fans, the playoffs are upon us. Tune into KSRO on Tuesday at 7:30 Pm as Golden State takes on the Timberwolves.
