Tonight it was the Klay Thompson show at Oracle arena. The Splash Brother scorched the Timberwolves to the tune of 41 points. It was one of those nights where Klay played unconscious. He was moving without the ball and draining three-pointers. Minnesota kept pace with the Dubs in the first half they trailed the Warriors (68-60). Golden State took control for good in the 3rd quarter. Klay Thompson was on fire and Steph scored 13 of his 19 points in the frame. The bench was once again spectacular as we move towards the postseason. The Kevin Durant injury woke up every player on this Warrior’s squad. The end result is a renewed focus and purpose for a team that is poised for the playoffs. With the 121-107 victory, Golden State’s magic number to clinch the 1 seed is down to 2 games. Up next the Dubs travel to Phoneix tomorrow night to take on the Suns. Both Draymond Green and Andre Iguodala will get some much-needed rest. Tune into KSRO for pre-game and the next installment of Warrior’s basketball.
