Some travel experts are saying that President Trump may lead to a slump in Sonoma County’s tourist industry.  The CEO of the U.S. Travel Association said yesterday in Santa Rosa that talk of Trump’s proposed travel ban could have a wider implication for the country’s over two-trillion-dollar travel industry.  Roger Dow’s comments came after yesterday’s Sonoma County Tourism annual breakfast meeting.  The county’s average hotel occupancy rate of just below 80-percent and average daily rate of about 165 dollars in 2016 broke records in both categories.
