The police activitity in the Steele Lane neighborhood of Santa Rosa Tuesday morning was officers looking for a stolen vehicle suspect. Police pulled the SUV over, but the driver bolted. Kids at Steele Elementary Scchool were kept inside classrooms until about 10:45am. Andrew Chaffer, the suspect, was located at around 2pm in the SRJC neighborhood. He was taken into custody on several charges without further incident.
