In front of a sell-out crowd on Easter Sunday, the Warriors delivered a 121-109 victory. Golden State now leads the best of 7 series 1-0 against the Trailblazers. Kevin Durant was masterful once again with 32 points and 10 rebounds in his first playoff game with the Dubs. Curry and Draymond rounded out the scoring with 29 and 19 points respectively. On the other side of the court, Portland’s star backcourt did everything in their power to steal game 1. C.J McCollum and Damian Lillard scored 48 of the Blazers 56 first half points. They were nearly unstoppable as McCollum finished with 41 points, and Lillard powered home 34 points. Both teams were evenly matched until the 4th quarter arrived. With the game tied at 88, Draymond Green sparked a defensive surge that catapulted Golden State on a 15-2 run. The Warriors continued to pour it on and captured game 1 121-109. Green was nothing short of spectacular and without his efforts, there is no way the Dubs take Game 1. Up next the Warriors and Blazers square off for Game 2 of the series.
