A Marin County assemblyman is sponsoring a bill that would ban smoking at all of California’s state parks and state beaches.  Greenbrae Democrat Mark Levine says his bill is a natural step to protect communities from the dangers of cigarette smoke and to protect the environment and keep natural resources clean.  The Assembly Committee on Water, Parks, and Wildlife approved the bill last month and it’s now in the Committee on Appropriations.  That committee will decide next month whether to send the bill to the Assembly floor for a vote.
