Small private airplane for recreation use
Air and ground crews are still searching for a Santa Rosa couple flying in a private Petaluma-bound plane that is still missing. As of this morning, more than 70 agency personnel and over 60 volunteers continue to look for Brenda Richard, the pilot, and her husband, Mark Richard. Neither has been heard from since their plane took off from Truckee-Tahoe Airport Monday evening bound for the Petaluma Municipal Airport. Snow in the mountains where that plane took off is making the search more challenging.
