The long-awaited reunified Old Courthouse Square is set to make its public debut in downtown Santa Rosa. This Saturday, the city will unveil the more than ten-million dollar project to restore the space to its original configuration with the aim of revitalizing the downtown core. A ribbon cutting ceremony will get underway at 12:30, with music, a sidewalk sale, food, wine, craft beer and children’s activities to immediately follow. The first courthouse on the location went up in 1884 and came down in the 1906 earthquake.
