The Bay Area is first in a distinction without honor.  One in five house-hunters here is looking for a home somewhere else.  A new study by real estate brokerage Redfin puts the Bay Area first in housing markets where people are most likely to leave.  The most common in-state destination is Sacramento, where housing prices are a lot lower than in the nine-county Bay Area region.  The most common out-of-state alternative is Seattle.
