Saturday is Also a Big Day for Petaluma

Tomorrow’s the day: The Butter and Egg Day celebration in Petaluma. The Festival takes place downtown beginning at 10am, and the parade kicks off at noon. Mary McCusker is the Executive Director of the Petaluma Downtown Association. The 36th Annual Butter and Egg Day celebration is called Petaluma: City of Makers.

In addition to the Butter and Egg Day celebration tomorrow, there’s a new food game in town. Petaluma will officially open The Block, an outdoor food experience featuring food trucks from all over the Bay Area. The downtown Food Truck Market and Beer Garden will be open tomorrow from 1-6pm. It’ll feature 4 rotating food trucks and a permanent kitchen with a wood-fired pizza oven. 30 beers on tap and an outdoor picnic and family area will be featured. Cory Hildreth is the architect behind The Block.
