Actor Sir Roger Moore is dead. Moore’s family issued a statement saying the “James Bond” actor passed away today in Switzerland after a short but brave battle with cancer.  He was 89. The family tweeted that they’re “devastated” over Moore’s death.  Over his long and distinguished career, Moore played 007, the British secret agent James Bond, in seven feature films between 1973 and 1985.  He also starred in his own television show “The Saint” between 1962 and 1969.  Aside from acting, Moore was also active as a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador.  A private funeral for Moore is planned later in Monaco.
