Organizers of the 30th annual Sonoma County Unity March and Pride Parade are calling the event a big success. Thousands participated in the festivities held in Guerneville over the weekend, starting Saturday with a march and solidarity rally. The festivities were capped yesterday by the rainbow-colored pride parade and festival. The parade was led by grand marshals Greg Sarris, chairman of the Federated Indians of Graton Rancheria, Supervisor Lynda Hopkins and trans activist Aydian Dowling.
