Abstract Holes on asphalt road
Winter storm damage is causing delays and driving up costs for Sonoma County’s upcoming road-paving program. County supervisors are expected to award construction contracts today in the amount of 14-million-dollars to resurface nearly 55 miles of roads. That’s about 45 miles less than what county officials planned for in 2016 when they budgeted about 22-million-dollars for this summer’s roadwork. County engineers are redrawing the plans. Now, work won’t be completed until sometime in 2018.
