The Man who was found in the water off the Sonoma coast at Fisk Mill Cove has been identified as 32 Year old Kenneth Klaverweiden from Sonora, according to the Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office.
Life guards along the coast saw Klaverweiden alone Rock picking for Abalone along the coast early Tuesday morning. He was found in the water early that afternoon by a woman hiking. His car was found nearby and the Sheriff’s office matched up the license plate to Klaverweiden.
It is unclear whether or not he had gone diving. He was wearing a diving suit but not wearing a diving belt or other diving ge. An autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death.
