Cutting a red ribbon with scissors concept for new business venture or opening ceremony

Commuters are now able to use a wider bridge along Highway 12 in Sebastopol.  State and local officials were on hand Tuesday for a ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Laguna de Santa Rosa Bridge.  The bridge is used by more than 20-thousand drivers a day, and now includes wider traffic lanes, shoulders and sidewalks.  Caltrans officials say the two-year, 19-million-dollar project was needed due to years of erosion from the Laguna de Santa Rosa Creek.
