Cal Fire Suspends Outdoor Burns

Cal Fire is suspending outdoor burn permits in five Bay Area counties because the fire danger is too high.  Starting next weekend, Cal Fire will stop issuing outdoor burn permits in Sonoma, Marin, San Mateo, Solano, and Napa counties.  The ban will take effect one minute after midnight on Saturday, July 1st.  It will apply to all residential burning of landscape waste such as branches and leaves.
