Santa Rosa Nursing Home Accused of Understaffing and Failing to Meet Basic Needs

A Santa Rosa nursing home company is named in a federal class-action lawsuit.  Brookdale on Fountaingrove Parkway is one of 89 facilities statewide accused of chronic understaffing, failing to meet the basic needs of residents, and putting profits ahead of people.  The Brookdale suit was brought by the families of four residents, including two residents of the Fountaingrove facility.  The suit seeks a court order forcing the company to make changes and unspecified monetary damages.
