Group Of Elementary School Children In Computer Class

The Cotati-Rohnert Park Unified School District is considering turning two of its campuses into computer science magnet schools.  School officials hope to draw more students to John Reed and Waldo Rohnert elementary schools by teaming up with Code to the Future, an organization that helps roll out computer science immersion programs.  The organization would provide on-site teacher training and other support for five years, and it would cost the district around 500-thousand dollars.  The school board could vote on a proposal August 15th.
