A new sleeker, taller Golden Gate Bridge toll plaza is expected to get a green light today. The bridge district’s board of directors is scheduled to vote on an engineering consultant for the new toll plaza. Changes in technology are aimed at letting drivers with passes like the Golden Gate’s FasTrak use the technology to pay tolls anywhere in the state.
