Marijuana growers here in California are growing far more weed than is actually being consumed in the state. Growers across the state will soon have to cut production as regulators are expected to ban exports to other states in January. California Growers Association Executive Director Hezekiah Allen said the cut-back in production could be “painful” for licensed growers. Twenty-nine states in the U.S. have legalized marijuana in some capacity, California is one of the few that has legalized recreational use.
