The weather in the Bay Area is going to be hot enough to make people sick today.  The National Weather Service says there’s an elevated threat of heat-related illnesses today and tomorrow.  Forecasters say elderly people and those who are not in good health are most vulnerable, along with people involved in outdoor activities.  Weather experts say don’t leave people or pets in a parked car for any reason, for any length of time.  Afternoon highs will range from the 90s to over 100 in the North Bay and from the 60s to low 70s along the coast.
