All but one of the southbound lanes on the Golden Gate Bridge will be closed to traffic tonight and that will continue all week. Only one southbound lane will be open between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m. while crews work on pavement repairs every night. The repair project begins tonight and will wrap up Friday. Golden Gate Transit buses won’t stop at the southbound toll plaza bus stop while the work is going on. Bridge officials say riders should use the stop at Richardson Avenue and Francisco Street.
