Developing story this morning: A man is dead after being shot and killed by Santa Rosa police inside a home. The shooting happened Saturday night on West Steele Lane after officers said the man advanced towards them holding a large knife and ignored their commands. Officers first deployed a Taser and pepper spray, but neither technique worked. The officers involved, who were wearing body cameras, are being placed on administrative leave, which is standard procedure. The suspect has not been identified.
