Alt-right rallies are coming to the Bay Area.  The National Park Service says it’s issued a permit to the Patriot Prayer group for a rally at the Presidio’s Crissy Field, on Saturday, August 26th.  The group is calling its event Free Speech, Unity and Peace San Francisco.”  The Southern Poverty Law Center describes Patriot Prayer as a pro-Trump, alt-right group.  A separate alt-right rally, titled “No to Marxism in America” is scheduled for Sunday, August 27th in Berkeley’s Martin Luther King, Jr. Civic Center Park.  A counter-protest, titled “Bay Area Rally Against Hate” is scheduled that same day at UC-Berkeley.
