The Sonoma County residents who lost their homes in the wildfires have until November 13th to authorize government-funded cleanup. The deadline to submit forms was announced yesterday at a special meeting of the Santa Rosa City Council in an effort to have people avoid having to cleanup their own properties. To date, the owners of less than one-thousand of the well over five-thousand homes destroyed by the fires have granted federally funded crews the right to remove debris from their properties. The forms are available at a processing center at 625 Fifth Street in Santa Rosa, or online at sonomacountyrecovers.org.
