Some North Bay residents who lost their homes in last month’s deadly wildfires will soon have temporary shelter.  The Federal Emergency Management Agency is providing temporary housing at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.  The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors on Friday okayed the lease of 80 recreational vehicle spaces for FEMA housing at the fairgrounds.  More than 100 additional spaces are expected to be developed and leased in the next few weeks.  The housing will be available to fire victims for at least a year and a half.
Residents whose homes were lost can head to the local assistance center on Mendocino Avenue in Santa Rosa for help with temporary housing.
