San Jose is on the way to breaking the “Guinness Book of World Records” for having the largest amount of illuminated trees in one spot. The city’s annual Christmas In The Park features 600 LED-lit trees this year. That’s 41 more than New York City’s Hallmark Channel, which is the current record holder. Guinness says it could take up to 15 weeks upon review of the trees for it to issue a new record. So for now, San Jose’s lighted Christmas tree display is just an “attempt to break a world record.”
