Hairline cracks are found in sections of the newly reconstructed Oroville Dam spillway as state and federal officials say there’s no need to worry.  A spokesperson for the state Department of Water Resources yesterday said the integrity of the spillway is not in question but the agency will monitor the surface during the rainy season and beyond.  Phase one of the 500-million-dollar project to rebuild the spillway was completed on November 1st and work on the upper portion of the structure will be completed by next year.
