Testimony Continues in Ghost Ship Warehouse Fire

Testimony continues in the preliminary hearing for two men charged in last year’s deadly Ghost Ship warehouse fire.  During testimony yesterday, an Oakland fire captain said Ghost Ship warehouse master tenant Derick Almena had told him in 2014 that no one lived inside the warehouse.  The captain ultimately looked inside the warehouse and said he reported to fire inspectors that he was concerned about some of the materials inside that could fuel a fire.  Almena and Ghost Ship creative director Max Harris both face three dozen counts of involuntary manslaughter for the 2016 fire that killed 36 people inside the warehouse.
