Early post-fire tests of Santa Rosa Creek water are showing no contamination. Despite the early positive results, North Coast water regulators caution that the results reflect a limited number of test sites – three from below the fire zone and one from above. Samples from each site were tested for 30 qualities, like acidity, nitrogen, mercury, lead, sulfate and many other contaminants, and all were negative.
