The Press Democrat reports 49-year-old Lewis Carrillo III fell off the edge of the bottom of a slope at Heavenly Ski resort and fell several feet before crashing into a tree. The accident happened last Wednesday afternoon while the man was on a trip with friends from Los Angeles and Australia. Emergency officials responded and attempted to revive Carrillo but were unsuccessful.
