Two Brothers Face Misdemeanor Charges for Entering Disaster Zone

Two brothers are facing jail time for entering a disaster zone attempting to reach their mother’s house in Fountaingrove to collect valuables. Press Democrat reports 45 year old Evan Neumann and 32 year old Mark Neumann were arrested on October 17th trying to reach the house on Lyon court. The Brothers claim they were misled by law enforcement into thinking their actions were ok, while authorities say they told Evan No, and were denied a 2nd time by national guard troops but went in anyway. Each brother faces a misdemeanor charge of entering a disaster zone and could receive up to 6 months in jail with a trial set for today.
