It was a Record Setting Year for Home Sales in Sonoma County

A lot of money change hands in the real estate market of Sonoma County after the October Wildfires. Press Democrat is report that in the final two months of 2017, buyers spent about 738 million dollars in houses and condos in Sonoma County, breaking the record of 659 million set in 2005. For 2017 as a whole, buyers spent 3.97 billion dollars on homes and condos, a ten percent increase from the year prior. The year ended with less than 390 homes available.
