1000’s of Residents Brace for Big PG&E Bills

Thousands of Northern California wildfire victims are expecting to receive big PG&E bills in the near future. The power provider temporarily stopped sending customers bills as part of a standard policy following a natural disaster. A PG&E spokesperson says about six-thousand-500 customers, the majority of them in Sonoma County, stopped receiving bills because they lost a home or business. PG&E is attempting to reach customers as it prepares to send bills for their temporary residence and will offer flexible payment plans to these customers who may receive a bill with several months of charges. Customers with questions are welcome to call PG&E at 1-800-743-5000.
