Motorists are being warned that anyone failing to feed parking meters until eight o’clock in downtown Santa Rosa will be ticketed. After issuing warning tickets for weeks, as of this weekend, officers will once again begin placing 35 dollar tickets on the windshields of violators. On January 2nd, meter operating hours in the downtown core were switched to ten o’clock through eight o’clock in the evening, and the rates increased from one dollar per hour to one dollar and 50 cents per hour. Enforcement runs Monday through Saturday, and parking is still free on Sundays.
