California’s unemployment rate is at a new record low. Employment Development Department Spokeswoman Loree Levy said the state’s rate fell to four-point-three-percent in February, down point-one-percent from January.
The number of Californians holding jobs in February was more than 18-and-a-half-million, up 13-thousand from January. San Mateo had the lowest unemployment rate at two-point-four-percent.
