$85,000,000. That’s the amount of money approved Wednesday for the widening of Highway 101 in Petaluma. It will be used to add a third lane on 101 between the Petaluma River and Corona Road. The money approved by the California Transportation Commission comes from the state gas tax increase. The project is scheduled to be finished by 2021.
