Interview: Saturday is the Official Opening for Andy’s Unity Park in Santa Rosa

Andy’s Unity Park opens this Saturday, June 2nd at 1pm at 3399 Moorland Avenue, on the corner of Moorland Avenue and West Robles Avenue in Santa Rosa. The event begins with speakers from the Lopez family and his friends at 1pm. The festival also begins at the same time and continues until 5pm.

Bert Whittaker, Sonoma County Regional Parks Director, walks us through the festivities related to the opening of the park, including some of the specific editions to this particular park, the collaboration between the family, community and parks department, and takes a few moments to discuss how our local parks are recovering since the October fires:
