Cities including  San Jose and Los Angeles are standing in solidarity with the victims of a shooting thousands of miles away in a Pittsburgh synagogue.  Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti joined other city leaders at a candlelight vigil at City Hall Monday evening to remember the eleven victims fatally shot at the Tree of Life Synagogue.

Los Angeles leaders also called for an end to hatred and violence.  The vigil follows the first court appearance of the shooter.
