One woman is hospitalized after being stabbed in the chest in Rohnert Park. Police say a witness called 9-1-1 Saturday afternoon after finding the woman bleeding in her car at Redwood Creek Apartments on Rohnert Park Expressway. The woman told police a man approached her and asked for a cigarette and then stabbed her when she told him she didn’t have any.
The suspect was described to officers as a while male adult, short and having dark curly hair. Multiple officers started searching the area for the suspect and were not able to locate anyone matching the description. Based on the victim’s statement, it is unknown if the suspect is related to or knows the victim. At this time, the Department of Public Safety does not feel the community is at risk.
