Sonoma County air quality from smoke coming in from the Camp Fire burning in Butte County is expected to worsen today. Air quality around the region improved somewhat yesterday thanks to wind blowing some of it away. According to the Bay Area Air Quality Management Control District, “new smoke” is expected to move in from the Central Valley today. Air quality for Sonoma County and the rest of the Bay Area is listed as “unhealthy for sensitive groups” such as children and people with respiratory disease, and others who should limit outdoor activities. It is another Spare the Air day today.

From the Bay Area Quality Management District: “an Air Quality Advisory is in effect through Monday, November 12, due to heavy wildfire smoke impacting in parts of the Bay Area from the Camp Fire in Butte County.”
