Over 60 Sonoma County firefighters and supervisors are also helping battle the Camp Fire in Butte County. About two dozen local firefighters yesterday afternoon worked in Feather River canyons, which was the highest priority area of the day. Another two dozen rested after pulling a 24-hour shift setting backfires. Meanwhile, two local fire engines and two fire supervisors are helping battle the Woolsey Fire and Hill Fire, both burning in Southern California.

More than 50 firefighters are dealing with the loss of their own homes while battling the deadly Camp Fire in Butte County. The International Association of Firefighters said yesterday it set up a disaster relief center for firefighters in Chico and has helped over a dozen first responders. The IAFF first set up a center in October 2017 in response to the deadly Santa Rosa wildfires.
