Post offices and libraries are among the limited closures for today’s national day of mourning for former President George H.W. Bush. Today will effectively be a federal holiday, meaning nearly all federal workers would be excused from work and their agencies would be closed. President Trump ordered the federal government closed, and flags on public buildings will be flying at half-staff for 30 days. Bush, the 41st president of the United States, died last Friday at the age of 94.
