The Boys & Girls Club of Sonoma Valley is facing a lawsuit over a sex abuse case involving a former employee. Lawyers for four alleged victims of former athletic director Paul Kilgore allege officials failed to protect them from the now-convicted pedophile. Defendants in the suit include the national Boys & Girls Club of America; the Petaluma Boys & Girls Club, where Kilgore later went on to work; and Kilgore himself. Kilgore was eventually convicted on six charges of child molestation and was sentenced to 150 years to life: he’s serving time at Mule Creek State Prison near Sacramento.
