No one knows why a man on a bike rode into a parking lot across the street from SRPD with a hatchet in one hand and a knife in the other. An off-duty cop saw the man and asked why he was there. That’s when he took off on the bike. On-duty officers responded and finally stopped 30-year old Nicholas Brown and arrested him on several charges, including parole violation.
