Democratic California Senator Bill Dodd of Napa is calling for PG&E to make leadership changes:

Dodd made the call Thursday after a report by state regulators claimed the utility falsified documents related to underground gas pipelines. The lines are similar to the one that exploded in San Bruno in 2010 that killed eight people. Meanwhile, Cal Fire found evidence that PG&E was liable for a dozen wildfires across Northern California in 2017 that killed at least 46 people. What is the answer according to Bill Dodd?

The California Public Utility Commission president Michael Picker says it’s another example of why his agency’s investigating the safety culture of the utility. A judge will decide appropriate penalties for the company.
