PG&E is continuing to build their case that private power equipment outside of Calistoga caused the Tubbs Fire and not their own.

In court filings on Monday, the utility built on the prospect that a power equipment privately owned and maintained by Ann Zink and Caretaker Michael Andrews is to blame for starting the deadliest of the 2017 October Wildfires. PG&E pointed to a specific repair job, that occurred 8 months prior to the fire, on a power pole on the property saying that the job wasn’t done by anyone with an electrical license or training. This information comes from a PG&E lead investigation as the official Cal Fire Investigation report on the Tubbs fire has yet to be released.
