A Santa Rosa chiropractor convicted of Groping 8 female patients has been captured in Mexico.
38 year old Daryoush “Darius” Bunyad was arrested on January 24 after a resident in Playa del Carmen, Mexico had contacted SRPD’s Sexual Assault Team and provided information, including photographs, that he was living there. After determining it was him, SRPD reached out to the United States Marshalls Service for assistance in locating and arresting Bunyad. As of now, Bunyad is in a Los Angeles County Jail.
Bunyad had fled in March of 2017 failing to show up for sentencing in a case where he was convicted for seven counts of felony sexual battery and six charges of annoy/molest a child. All of his victims were patients.
