A multi-year and multi-million dollar upgrade to Sonoma’s sewer main is set to get underway this summer. The roughly 15-million dollar project includes replacing three pipeline segments over nearly two miles in the next three years. The first stretch of pipeline runs from Sixth Street West to Maxwell Farms Regional Park. The work is scheduled to last about eight months this year, six months in 2020 and another six months in 2021.
