Sonoma County officials say they’re expecting a dip in tax revenue from the marijuana industry this year. Officials told the North Bay Business Journal that only about 65 cannabis businesses met the legal requirements to continue operating this year, down from 235 when the county first starting allowing marijuana sales. County officials said they don’t know yet how much tax revenue will decrease but that it will likely be much lower than last year’s three-point-five-million dollars.
